AAUW’s Diversity Statement
In principle and in practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.
AAUW Easton Branch awards financial scholarships to Easton area high school graduating seniors who are accepted at two or four year fully accredited colleges or universities. Applications are available in January in local high school guidance offices. The branch scholarship committee oversees the application process. Scholarships are based on academic excellence and financial need. The Scholarships are awarded at our annual May meeting.
Scholarships are also offered to women whose college education has been interrupted and now wish to return to college to complete their degree. Applications are available in January through the AAUW Easton Branch. Northampton Community College students can contact the college for an application. The scholarships are awarded at our annual May meeting.
It is vitally important to include all the requested documentation: transcripts and financial information.

AAUW was home to the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) for 39 years. Starting in 2025, NCCWSL will move to our trusted friends at NASPA, the professional home for student affairs administrators in higher education. AAUW will have a presence at the conference as a speaker, exhibitor, presenter and promotional supporter. However, NASPA will be responsible for the planning and execution of the conference moving forward.
